Assisteive Technology


Assistive technology can any type of technology that is designed to help people live there life’s to the fullest potential possible. For example someone with an intellectual disability may require assistive technology to assist them with typing or reading text books. Assistive technology comes in two different forms of technology such as high and low technology. High technology is for the most part computer passed or software for example: Google scribe helps people read what’s written on internet sites and emails. Low technology can be low cost technology that helps to support people in their lives for example: a pencil grip or a ipad.
